So we're going caching tonight. Have a couple of TB's. Looked at our route and there isn't one Cache available to drop a slightly large TB without hiking into the center of Assinaboine Forest. We desperately need some city folk who have a nice quiet park near a main route with a little wooded area to establish some medium sized caches so we can move these babies. The one possible good one is the University one which is understandably disabled due to flood waters. So we'll return to our own I suppose - Patriot Games or Queen's Mate Hideaway. The other one I guess would be Where Rivers Collide but that is hardly a main thoroughfare for cachers. Some near major travel points Pembina - Portage etc. Gotta be something. Ah something for any of you potential city hiders to think about. Build a Big Rock or something and hide a pail in it.

I'm working on a new cache, which should be out pretty soon. This weekend we are going to search for a good place to put it, and then we just have to get a few more items that fit the "theme". Keep your eyes open for it, not too much longer. I am also starting out my own travel bug in it, so there should be room for the others.
P.S. Any good suggestions on hiding spots are welcome.
Transcona, The Maples, North and West Kildonan are all quite unusued areas of the city if your planning city caches. I would also like to see more unique caches hidden not just another micro with no chance to trade anything. COME ON PEOPLE GET CREATIVE!!! The-Stuntman

If anyone wants their travel bug to go to Grand Forks you can leave in in my cache called Kids R US! and I will pick it up before going. We will be leaving on Sunday and have a few caches to do there. Not any really big ones though because we may not have a big enough cache to put it in. Just email me first and then drop it off. If for some reason we can't drop it off there, I will put it back in KIDS R US! Thanks,
I dropped off my Gibson the Goose at Livingston Trail. He wants to tour the US. Not on the way, but if someone is out that way from city, perhaps they will be kind enough to bring it home.
Not a handy spot for Winnipegers, but we found Max's Cache just west of Portage to be an excellent large cache just off of the TransCanada for travel bugs. It might generate some ideas for around Winnipeg.
