The fun loving Ztirnats found their 300th cache the Trans-Canada Travelbug Hotel and they did it with style! Check out their log. Congratulations and I look foreword to running into you on the trail!
CONGRATS TO BEVRO & YOURSELF.! 700 seems unthinkable to us but we do know every cache is special, be it 1, 100, 300 , 700 or even more.
With the snow about to fall we're not sure how often we will get out to the trails for some caching but we are certainly going to try. Any advice for a geocaching newbie in the winter?
Hope to see you at a cache real soon!
Z'tirnats & Z'ad

TurdleEggs et femme!!! Congrats on your 700th find!! and also on your latest additions ,your baby pbds! Not only are you carrying the torch, you're also lighting the way for the rest of us!
Thats a whole lotta caches ztirnats in not a whole lotta time ! At that rate you'll log 1200 in a year!! I agree with your sentiment entirely.I think I've had more fun in the last year and laughed more than I ever had.Happy trails!!
Jaypeg and CacheGrab, congrats on your achievements !! Seems that a lot of milestones are being reached. Do you think people are desperately caching before the snow flies? I know I am!!
Scientists are scrambling to explain the unforeseen migrant activity by the typically dormant Manitoba Swamp Turdle (Hardshellius Beerswillius)this year. Mating pairs have been seen moving away from their nests for short periods of time, to return a few hours later.
The National Turdle Observation Society is running out of theories. "We're vexxed! We've gone over the movement charts from the last 50 years! We've never seen anything like it!" says Samuel Adams, the chief researcher for the NTOS.
There are other curious developments as well. "It would seem that they have equipped themselves with some sort of accellerated mode of off-road transportation." says Adams. "We can't even keep up with them anymore!"
This reporter can only speculate as to what this means to the future of the Manitoba Swamp Turdle. Will it have enough time to prepare for the long, cold Manitoba winter? Is there any truth to the night-sightings of the Manitoba Swamp Turdle so far away as Siam and Kamchatka? What are they carrying with them in that sachel?
Thanks Turdle and Sam&Lily. I have been getting carried away with caching lately. I will probably slow down now for the winter as this bear likes it warm. I will try to get to the 500 mark before the end of the year, I hope.
If there any expeditions that would like some company please email me.

I can't go to hell, I don't have the co-ordinates.
I just realized that I hit a rather significant milestone the other day. On October 9, 2006 after doing some caching with Dani_Carriere, I posted my 100th DNF log for Ross' Micro Cache.
Ha ha - ok it wasn't 100 attempts at Ross' Micro Cache - I suppose I should have been more clear about that.
Actually, My 100 DNFs were on 92 different caches. Six were caches that I had DNF'd on twice before finally finding the cache, and one of them I had 3 DNFs before I was able to finally log a find on that one.
Of those 92 caches, 44 were ones that I made it back to and finally found. Some of the others were officially missing ( 18 ) and many of them subsequently archived. Some were in areas that I never made it back to to search for again.
I think it is interesting to note - unless someone has and I missed it - that our Cacher of the Month for October hit the 400 cache mark just as their questionnaire responses were being posted.
Congratulations Kruzrrr! I hope to tackle your Sunday Kruz series one of these days.
Thanks Stuntman! We had a fun bit of a run there but I bow down to your caching history. You tackle caches I'm to chicken to go near!! As for the 50 caches this past week...my visiting sister and I had a blast caching and shopping our way through Grand Forks and Fargo...not to mention the colored ****tails!! We did a lot of micros...seems to be the cache of choice down there. Most memorable were Gunga Din GCXRD and The Fast Lane GCZ2KT. We were very moved by 302 Lincoln GCNJYE.The owner of this cache emailed me later with a little more detail about it. Online research revealed an article written by the family about how the floods of 1997 effected their lives. By the way, my sister and I have the notoriety of having gotten lost driving from Grand Forks to Fargo...frightening , isn't it!
Hey! Those asterisks were courtesy of this site...seems silly when you think of the banners that pop up but its nice to know the dialogue stays "clean".
CONGRATULATIONS SAM & LILY!!!!!!!!!! #700 OMG that is soooooooo many. We were honoured to have you choose Remember #16 (GCZANA) as your 700th find. You were just at 600 a month ago. That is 100 caches in the last month. We are all just having way too much fun! We really enjoyed your latest cache Heidi Hide, Heidi Home. Lots of great swag. Onward to 800 by the end of the year?

The Slippery One has reached a significant milestone – 100 caches at Big-T’sMonumental! For a down to earth boy from le Pas, that’s the equivalent of 1,000 city-slicker caches :) Your spirit’s infectious Ray!
PS, That’s a nice picture from MHz – I think you should be on a stamp!
Alright Slippery_1! Having lived near the Pas for several years (living in a canvas wall tent and working in the bush) I know the distances that you have to travel. I agree 100 is like 1,000 city caches - esp the driving distance.
Way to go slippery_1, well done. We also missed congratulating TurdleEggs on 700 and Sam & Lily on the same, very impressive. It is hard to keep up with all the milestones being passed these days.
i knew when I went to the airpot yesterday I was in for some great things.
Took two attempts to get here once the weather broke, but one call and I was from the plane into the MHz mobile and caching...yup.
Then the infectious coaching of "T" and everyone in the crew last night made me want more...was happy with 94 but then when I left at the hotel it wasn't,"ENOUGH" needed more.
Walked to two caches this afternoon and knew I needed another ride..even though they look close on a map boy you urban cachers hide em a long ways apart...walking to them is tough.
Well our planning committee decided Collectively that "T's" cache was the one that needed to fall as the slippery_1's 100th.
I could never have done it without all these wonderful urban cachers who give so selflessly.
Right from the ride from the airport to the ride to the 100th to supper and conversations...can't imagine better people to share time with...thank you all again for the wishes and the great memories...
And know's Turdlegg's will bve amazed with what I have in store for him...
Dropped off some goodies to "T"for the winter get together...enjoy.
