hmmm ... OK, I did some checking ... Winnipegk5 found his first cache on November 13, 2004. That means, on average, he's found 1.7 caches per day. However, he didn't really get going until around April 24, 2005 (he only found 2 caches before this date) ... using that date it looks like he's found 2.3 caches per day. He's found 483 caches since January 1st of this year, at a rate of 3.58 caches per day. If the keeps this up, he'll hit 1,000 somewhere around June 11th.
Maybe we should start a betting pool?
Conversely, I found my first cache on May 28, 2002 with an average of 0.05 finds per day At this rate, I should hit 100 by spring of 2008! lol ... I am picking up speed though, my average finds for the last year is 0.095, so it might even be spring of 2007!!

Code Blue, our sister-in-law hit 100 finds at the very memorable Tree Hugger cache in the Whiteshell - none of us knew it! Congrats to her on slogging through to the finale! Here's hoping we share another couple hundred in the next few years!

As the locals say, 'Y'awl beeing mightay neigbarly, pardnar!' Even during work, you have to make time for fun. If'n y'awl git down ta Dallas, Rush Hour is great !
I have been remiss with my traveling lately and should pass along congrats to 1Q&4J for 600, P&G for their 700th (interesting road trip, hope you took some pictures) and might as well include ertyu who is knocking on the door of 600. And I thought I saw a Lizard scurrying around the Whiteshell last weekend sniffing for #300. Great effort people.
Hopefully I get home Thursday night, but not in time for the Forks Blitz. Have fun, now back to the salt mine for me.
Aside from ertyu, there are a handful of people "knocking on the door" of the next level. MLKoop, the-Stuntman, 3Ts&aG, Dutch53 & BB, Old Billygoat, Cache and Cary, theJollyRogers ... just to name a few.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) but by doing many of our caches today Ertyu zoomed past us and up the ladder of finders...It was thrilling watching him get an FTF on one of ours today - we've never had that experience before. What a great game where every cache is a new adventure and everyone WINS!!!! See you at 1000- we'll try to stay on your heels. All 5 of us. Keep on CLIMBING! Literally and figuratively.

Attention all top cachers! Take ONE GIANT STEP BACK! Make way for the return of junglehair! (all hail junglehair, empress of the geocache, demi-goddess of the GPSr ... ). Junglehair is moving back to Winnipeg. As a result, her 1600+ caches puts her in our #1 find position. (sorry winnipegk5)
The bar is now set even higher, prepare for nosebleeds!

Congratulations on making your 100th find at Norwood Blitz with all the Blitzing the Forks gang present. I think you might have an addiction coming on . . .
I hear there was a little bet going on between The-Stuntman and MHz . . . and it looks like The-Stuntman won. Congratulations on finding your 500th cache!
Congratulations to Stuntman, burchill & Cache & Cary who hit 500, 300, & 100 finds respectively! The little Energizer Bunny just keeps going and going in Manitoba lately!!

Thanks Turdle both for sharing it with me and for posting that delightful picture. Boy, everybody's been getting some good pics of me lately. And let's all keep in mind here that although Turdle has more finds, I have been caching longer than he his.

That picture looks rather posed (IE, planned out). Either that, or TurdleEggs is just a spectacular photographer. Congratulations, 3T's&aG, on 300! We're coming right up behind you! (We hope!)
Honestly I had no idea he took the shot until I saw it posted here. It is a great shot, isn't it? Thanks for the congrats! You'll be there soon I know!
