If you haven't tried it yet, check out the new google earth link on your profile page. Wow. This makes it so much more simple to plan caches along a route or at a destination. Especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. Everything is linked back to gc.com for the descriptions, etc.
Make sure you have google earth installed first. You can get it here.
Very cool - just downloaded it onto my computer - land lines take forever though. Oh for high speed in the country. How does one check out ones travel bug through this though - I've tried to check and it says somewhere in the vast amount of info it should be possible.

You can track a travel bugs progress by first going to the travel bug page and then click on the View in Google Earth link on the top right hand side of the page. When I just tried it now though, the caches didn't come up, just the Google waypoints, but I thought they had when I tried it before.
Can't you get satelite internet access? Or is it prohibitively expensive? You've heard of satelites before, right? They are orbiting the earth a few miles up. Bouncing signals around the globe...some people even use these for a sport called geocaching. ;)
