I just wanted to draw your attention to a fund raising effort that is going on at the moment to raise money for a Trust Fund.  Many geocoins were donated to the cause, and they are now being auctioned off on eBay.  Search for NNJC to see the list of coins available.  Normally I wouldn't recommend eBay for acquiring coins, but the funds here are going to a worthy cause.

I had the pleasure of meeting Helmut and his family at a couple geocaching events.  He was a quiet man, but obviously a devoted husband and father.  He was also an avid geocacher (Skully & Mulder) and was the founding President of the Northern New Jersey Cachers group. He was only 43 and died suddenly of a massive heart attack on January 27, 2006.  Very sad news indeed.
