Congratulations to MHz, whose "18 Carrots" cache is Manitoba's 1,000th active cache!

And congratulations to everyone else for helping to reach this milestone!

Yeah we made it! Another milestone for Manitoba and many more to come! Now keep them coming!

I wonder who will be the first to go find 18 Carrots! :)

And congratulations to FoodNinja, whose B5 Multi Mystery is #1,000 the second time we hit it!

And congrats to all the other Manitoba hiders for making it possible!! 2,000 isn't *that* far away, is it?

actually greenberg your figures are wrong if you check the dates on foodninja's cache is dated as nov 10/06 coming out and tee vee new adopted cache came out nov 11/06 waypoint GCR5B7,THIRD TO FIND  cache is really the 1000th cache for the second time around, congrats to Tee Vee for adopting the new landmark cache.

I can see how you arrived at that conclusion, and I certainly don't have a monoply on interpreting how the cache count is determined. You have your opinion, and I have mine.

The same data, and two completely different answers. Ain't statistics wunnerful?

OK. So, I went looking for the Babylon5 cache and found the site, but came out empty handed. What exactly is a PPG Cartridge? Maybe if I knew what I was physically looking for, I would have better luck.

If this counting who found what and who hid what is going to cause more riff's and we all want to keep counting who found what etc, then I vote to remove this thread and everyone just count thier own stats.

I am just happy to be a part of this experience we all have come to know and enjoy as geocaching....

If you place them, then they will come!

So who's going to be the next person to place Manitoba's 1000th active cache?  I see we are back down to 999 again!

...and another one bites the dust/snow.

998 today, it would be interesting to see a graph of active Manitoba caches over time. Anyone up for the challenge? It would be interesting to see the seasonal ebbs and flows.

They're dropping like flies in a Manitoba winter....997.

Where are all the caches going? Sounds like the start of a mournful song.

Unless someone puts more finds out, there are 4 caches in line for archiving in the next 10 days.

Well, I should have my very first cache ready in around 2 or so weeks (maybe less, depending on how construction of the cache container goes).  I've got a second container currently being made (and technically a third, but that's just a random weird container-ish thing I found while prepping the first location... debating whether to turn it into a cache container or just keep it because it's generally weird), but only the first has a location to be placed, and a half-prepared cache container.
