French promo on CKSB Jan 13, 2007
Permalink Closed

For those of you interested, I did a geocaching segment with Jean-Marc Ousset, from CBC, on Thursday January 11 and it will air on Saturday January 13 at 9:35 am. This is the French CBC, CKSB and the frequency is 1050am. It will be approximately 15 to 20 minutes long as we did the Canadian Multi-Cache Winnipeg segment placed by Lizardo. It will be broadcasted throughout the Prairies, from Manitoba to Alberta, but it is in French though...

I particularly like the snowy foot steps ... somehow, I think there were more than 4 or 5 steps between stages in the cache ...

Good job, Jacques.  Can we get an English transcript of the interview for those who high school french is several decades back?  aka ... me ... I followed the conversation pretty well.  Should be fairly easy for me to do the Canadian Multi-Cache now ...

Thank you so much for doing this OHMIC.  That was a great narrative of your caching experience.  And I'm not sure, but I think that there were enough holes in the broadcasted hints that the interview is not a "spoiler".  Not a big deal, anyhow.  I hid the thing so people would find it! :)

Because of the nature of my job, I have many connections with the media.
You can listen to me on CJOB weekly on Sundays at 7:30am (5 minutes or so), CKXL on Tuesdays at 8:30am (5 to 10 minutes), French CBC every first Saturday of the month at 9:00am (20 minutes or so), or watch me on Breakfast Television (remotes with Jimmy Mac, 5 x 5 inutes segments once a month) and CKY during the weather with Sylvia approximately once a month or so. I also have some connections with newspaper journalists.
I principlally promote what's happening at my work place but I am inclined to mention and promote any large geocaching event put out by the club at any of those outlets mentioned above.
Cheers!

If lizards had eyebrows, mine would definitely be raised.

Sounds good! I will definitely keep that in mind.
Could Sylvia get me a Bobby Hull signature? Or failing that, an old jersey he may have left behind? Or a sock?

I'll ask her but I cannot guarantee anything...
