Stealing inspiration from grnbrgs Mystery Geopic, I have decided to try a locationless Geopic!
Find and take a picture of a police car at a coffee shop - ANY coffee shop. Perhaps this wrinkle in the geopic game will allow our rural caching friends to take part. Here is my pic to start.
The thread can revert back to the regular geopic method at any time. It is photographer's choice.
The expersoin "Be carefull what you wish for" came to mind while I was attempting this. I happened to see a police car in the drive through of Tim Horton's on McPhillips. I positioned my car near the exit to get a good pic. It turns out while I was setting up the pic they noticed me and started a little background check of their own. I no sooner finished taking my pic when they, after recieving their coffee, pulled up and parked right beside me. After being held for questioning to explain my actions I was released.
This is not where my story ends I myself still needed to get some donuts for the MBGA Safety course. Once I entered into Tim's I spotted these two sitting at a nearby table. Pressing my luck further I snapped photo #2.
Enjoy.

Sorry about the delay with the new pic. I never expected to get the one of the cops, so I'm scrambling to get a new one up. I do have an idea I'm working on and like my caching name says, I'm trying to get up the nerve to pull off the stunt.

Expanding on Lizardo's theme here's the next pic. The only stipulations are you must be in a department store or mall and you must have your gps in the pic. No Kids (too easy)
MERRY CHRISTMAS The-Stuntman

Drat, I was just taking photos of that sort last weekend. Although I'm quite certain I would have crushed the poor fellow in the suit trying that stunt.
Oh that is so tempting to do this geopic (despite the fact that I hate my pic being taken) but I've no clue how to top that one for the next pic. Good pic Stuntman!
Bonus points for Big T because Santa's holding the GPS! Thanks to Stuntman for this bit of fun. Looks like there is a Lizardo-like monopoly of the Geopic game.
Here’s a locationless GeoPic where the country folk can play along. What you need to do is find another field like this one and post a picture of it. The only requirements are:
1) There must be at least two bales in the picture, whether round, square or a stook, and they must have some snow on them.
2) There must be some prairie visible in the picture so at least a mile with no trees. A clear horizon gets bonus points!
For the GeoPic to count you must include the coordinates of where you took the picture.
I'm waiting for yet one more requirement: To stand on one foot, pat your head, rub your tummy, take co-ordinates, all whilst singing, "Waltzing Matilda".
Just one more rule Q: if you can manage to find this pastoral setting near a billabong, I’ll treat you to a Fosters on pub nite. But please, leave your jumbuck at home.
I saw quite a few turkey necks and tall boys today but never on the same pole. The bales weren't easy as most have been cleared and stored in our area otherwise the deer and elk have a smorg.
Great job Dragonfreys – that’s a nice image. It looks like you found them about the right time of day too. I see you had to go all the way to Oakburn for the elusive bales. The ones I photographed on Thursday near N49 45.129 W96 37.225 (looking south) were being removed yesterday.
Where does the week go? Okay how about an easy one. A picture of a geocacher(s) on snowshoes with the coordinates. Note that the GPSr and snowshoes must be visible and of course the requisite coordinates.
Here’s a pair of GeoCachers on two pairs of snowshoes at N49 48.235 W97 07.390. Note the Garmin on the left and Magellan on the right. The Turdle is sporting a pair of ash and rawhide beaver tails. The Lizard is modeling state-of-the-art snowshoes composed of high-tech materials that not only keep him upright on steep inclines, but evade radar when GeoCaching abroad.
Stay tuned for the next GeoPic from Lizardo . . .
As the DragonFreys enjoy a good map, I’ve also included a topographic interpretation of the GeoPic.
Very nicely done you two. Styling. The topographic interepretation is quite interesting. I notice the Turdle blends into the surroundings better than the Lizard. Natural adaptation.
