Coming to Winnipeg
Permalink Closed

Good evening,

I am driving to Wpg for business trip on Sept 13, 2006, all day mtg in Hadashville on the 14th then head back home on the 15th.  I will drop in for the MBGA meeting on 13th but is there anyone who wants to go geocaching before the meeting(who need supper LOL!) or after the meeting.  Also what geocaches I should check out while I am in the Hadashville area?

I'll be going to the meeting location around 7:15Pm ... it's a pretty reasonable BBQ restaurant, you're welcome to join us for supper there.  I may even be up for some caching afterward too!

Hello spongebob_familymb,

There are few caches by Hadashville and on the way to/from Winnipeg along Hwy #1. Several of them involve walks though, so you may be time constrained:

Trees 'n Trains is very close to Hadashville and a nice park. The gate might only be open until 5:00 though. They won’t mind if you walk in from the road if the gate’s closed – they know about the cache so just tell them what you’re doing if you see anybody.

Winter Camp '06 TCDNMB is in a nice location and easy drive up cache off the highway right now

Cache Grove. HALT! TCDNMB is quick and easy and a must do.

PinerestTCDNMB and Mickey Mouse are in the bush along the TCPL right-of-way. You might skip these if you don’t have enough time.

Friends of the Forest Blitz TCDNMB is a fun cache along the highway. Plan your multi route so you’re not crisscrossing yourself to save time.

Jigsaw puzzle rock is a very nice location and accessible via vehicle if you take the forestry road coming from the West followed by a short walk.

East Meets West TCDNMB is an easy drive up cache along #1, but make sure you read the cache listing first.

Deacons Corner (Scrabble-C TCDNMB) is another easy drive up cache closer to Winnipeg.

Have fun!
