...to Winnipeg that is! This weekend. So naturally I have decided to have a semi-event in their honor. Well, I'm not really *having* one just sort of organizing one.

Friday night 6:30 pm at the Boston Pizza on Portage Ave. (sorry, I don't have the co-ords and no, I'm not going to Google Earth to get them. ) No pizza emoticon, what a ripoff!

I will make a reservation tomorrow under the MBGA. Please post here if you will be able to join us.

Oh, and DragonFreys will be there also!

I would love to attend Friday night but I'm head dish pig all weekend for our dinner theater group.  The dogs and I are hoping to get out to Beaudry Park Saturday morning to knock off a few caches, weather permitting.  Enjoy your weekend anyway

Sorry we can't make it but we'll be doing the next best thing to dining with the Dragonfreys...Hubbie and I will be up at Elkhorn tackling a few of their caches. Have a great time!

VENUE CHANGE!!!!!!


The BP (Boston Pizza) on Portage cannot accomodate us so I have made a reservation at the BP on Kenaston for 6:30 pm. The reservation is under the MBGA. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Have fun Sam & Lily. Hopefully the snow doesn't slow things down too much. We had a long standing FTF up for grabs since February but someone just snagged it last weekend.

I plan on attending as it would be nice to meet some of the people behind the posts. I'll be flying solo so, it hopefully won't be hard to squeeze me in somewhere at the table.

I just found out about this informal event and would like to attend, however, I am way out in the middle of nowhere with no way to get there! Plus, bus service down there isn't the greatest!
Is there anyone for whom...

hmmm ... I came to the restaurant but no one was home ... seems I missed you guys by less than 1/2 an hour.  I'll have to teach you guys the fine art of apres-dinner chat to make the evening go slower.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful gathering. Sorry Dani, we tried to stretch it out over 3 hours but the caches were calling. It was great catching up with friends and meeting new cachers, and the food was pretty good too. Manitoba cachers are the friendliest bunch of people we know, thanks for making us feel welcome in the big city. Thanks to Tobey for organizing and thanks to all you cachers placing all the great caches around the city. Makes us wish we lived closer.

Dang, I REALLY wish I had been able to make it to the gathering. Stupid work schedule... never have a day off when it'd be useful.

Although, heard that my travelbug made it to the gathering... so hey, at least a small chunk of me was there :P
