A belated congratulations to Winnipegk5 who found his 1000th cache on July 28, 2006 during a summer trip to Georgian Bay and back. He reached this milestone in just over 1.5 years of caching. It took me over 3 years to find that many caches, so way to go!
Too funny! Sorry to torment you Sam and Lily (or should I say Leo and Ruth). Your timing was good though, as we’d just found #600 about an hour before your post. Thanks for the congratulations!
Thanks. I enjoy caching for opportunity to ride and find new parks. Now I often get frustrated when I drive. It can be limiting though though; I am limited to about 60km from home (or where I am staying) unless I do an over night.
At the rate you're going maybe we should plan on getting 900 at the same time!!! Distinct possibility now that school is getting in the way of caching again...Thanks - we highly recommend the Winnipeg Beach - Hecla run for anyone who wants to bag a fun bunch of caches... Especially in fall.
It ended up that we hit 800 at Fishing the Red Blitz which pleased us that it was a Blitz cache...We had no clue but did actually take a picture at that cache.
