Hi there.

I'm 42 and my son is 6. We found our first Geocache this morning and it was a lot of fun for him (and for me too!).
We were thinking of starting our own Geocache. Does anyone have any reccomendations as to what to put inside?

We've been paperless caching now for about a month and are enjoying it. We download the GPX files in Pocket Queries and open them with GSAK (a free download with a one time US $20.00 registration fee if you like it). We sort the caches in GSAK and save them both as html pages and also in Streets and Trips for...

Winter and Geocaching... it work that well?
(Preview)
Basically just a quick question. The temperature's dropping like a stone lately, so it looks like winter's a-comin' (as if there's any alternative in Winnipeg :P).
So... yeah, are most caches (such as the ground-based ones) all disabled for the winter, or are they left active to be dug out o...

Anyone have opinions on the best GPSr's to get? I like my Magellan SporTrack, but I've been thinking of getting a better one sometime. Are there some that are more accurate than others? Accuracy

I've been wondering if the brand of GPSr makes any difference in coordinates. I've read some logs on geocaching.com where one person says, "the coord's were dead-on", and a few logs later another cacher says the cache was 12m off. Is this dependent on conditions or on the different GPSr's?
